NB-V1 in NB Designer

After purchasing an NB-V1, some common scenarios you may encounter are as followed:
- You may be unable to connect to the NB-V1 HMI.
- You might be unable to transfer an existing project into a new NB-V1 HMI.
- You are unable to locate a ‘V1’ HMI in the project PT section.
- You are unable to change the PT model to a NB-V1 variant.
In all cases, the most likely cause is that your version of NB designer needs updating. The support for NB-V1 HMI's was introduced to NB Designer from version 1.60 and up. You can check your NB Designer version via Help → Version Information.
To update NB designer you can use the following link to download the latest version:

Simply fill out the form, and a link to download the software will be emailed to you.
Once downloaded, extract the folder to a location of your choice and run the Setup.exe file. The installer will automatically recognize that you are updating your current version of NB designer.
Converting Projects.
An NB-V1 project cannot be reverted to a standard NB project. Please ensure you have adequate backups of the standard project, and save the converted project as a separate file.
