How to connect a braking resistor to MX2 series VSD

Check the minimum connectable resistance for the VSD. Do not connect a resistor with a resistance less than the rated minimum.
Refer to the below table for braking resistor rated for a 10% ED. To calculate the required power and resistance ratings manually, please refer to Appendix 5 of the Users Manual (Page 616).
Wiring the resistor
Use the below wiring diagram to connect the braking resistor.
Resistors can be connected in series or parallel to get the desired properties.
