Resistor Selection

Warning

Check the minimum connectable resistance for the VSD. Do not connect a resistor with a resistance less than the rated minimum.

Refer to the below table for braking resistor rated for a 10% ED. To calculate the required power and resistance ratings manually, please refer to Appendix 5 of the Users Manual (Page 616).

Use the below wiring diagram to connect the braking resistor.Resistors can be connected in series or parallel to get the desired properties.
