Introduction

It is possible to connect the touch panel monitor to multiple FHV7s. There is no limit for the number of FHV units you can simultaneously connect to. It depends on the specifications of the touch panel monitor because it depends on how many remote control tools can be active at the same time. Operation has been confirmed with up to 8 units connected. 

Steps for Connecting:

1. Open the FHV7Open folder on the desktop.
2. Make copies of the bat files in the FHV7Open folder for the number of connected FHV7 files.
3. Using the screen keyboard that can be opened from the desktop, give each copied bat file a name that will identify each FHV to connect to
4. Long tap each named .bat file and select "Edit” to open the .bat file
5. Change the IP address of each open bat file to the IP address of the target FHV7 and save it.

• Example: Content of the .bat file of remote control tool Ver. 6.21 (Tool Ver. Is an example)
  start C:\OMRON\FZ_FH_FJ_Simulator\FHVX-XXX_621\FZ-RemoteClient.exe 10.5.6.100 0 1024x1
• For this line in the file, change the the IP address "10.5.6.100" to the IP address of a FHV7 to be connected to at start-up.

6. Long tap the “FHV7Open.bat” file on the desktop and select "Edit” to open it.
7. In the “FHV7Open.bat” we will save the settings to call the .bat files created in steps 2 to 5.

Example: Contents in FHV7Open.bat

• call .\FHV7Open\FHV7_ver621_100.bat call .\FHV7Open\FHV7_ver621_101.bat

In the above example, the following two bat files in “FHV7Open” are called simultaneously

• FHV7_ver621_100.bat
• FHV7_ver621_101.bat

8. Turn on the power to the FHV7 and make sure they are in a state where they can be connected to from the Remote Operation Tool.
9. Restart the Touch Panel Monitor.

Supplementary

If you want to connect to FHV7, which has already been connected, or FHV7, which has been newly connected, double-tap "FH-SimulatorLauncher" on the desktop to connect manually.
