The TM Collaborative Robot has 2 main modes of operation:

  • Auto - Automatic mode that runs a specified project during operation
  • Manual - Programming, Hand Guiding, system configuration possible

These modes are indicated by the light ring on the end of the robot.

So as to avoid unwanted mode changes during operation a password is required to transition between modes, this password is a sequence of key presses on the Robot Stick. The sequence is as follows:

  • Hold the M/A button until you hear a beep and the Manual/Auto light begins to flash on the robot stick
  • Enter ‘+, -, +, +, -, M/A, M/A'

This password can be changed to a custom password if required, to do this follow the below procedure:

  1. Go To Configuration → Safety Settings
  1. Click on the Lock Icon (Log In)
  1. Enter the current Safety Password and Click Okay
  2. Click on the Lock Icon again and select “Change Robot Stick Password”
  • Enter in the previous Password a new Password

You have now successfully changed the Robot Stick Password!
