Setup of readhead

Typical setup used to connect the LVS V275 printer and camera to a network

Omron readhead needs to be connected to a POE switch

Use eBUS player to setup the readheads

The readhead network needs to have the networks jumbo packets increased to 9014bytes and the receive bytes to 2048 bytes.

The optimal configuration setup for multiple systems can be such that the NIC on 192.168.1.11 and the camera on 192.168.1.12

Configure eBUS player

  1. Install eBUSplayer utility to configure the printer, this is part of the V275 software installation
  2. Once open, click on the Select/Connect connection to show the current available devices.

3. When the camera device has been found, select “Set IP Address” to reconfigure the cameras network settings.

Make sure to select the ‘Show unreachable Network Devices’ check box to show the connected camera

4. The Camera needs to be configured as a permanent IP address. To do this select device control, ‘Guru’ visibility > TransportLayerControl and GigEVision settings.

Change the following settings.

GevCurrentIPConfigurationDHCP => False

GevCurrentIPConfigurationPersistentIP => True

GevPersistentIPAddress => 192.168.1.XX
