Scenario

You have installed the CX-One software suit and want to use CX-drive to program an MX2 or RX2 drive. However you get an error such as the following, ‘the driver may be corrupted or missing’ . 

 

Solution

To overcome this issue, the following steps need to be completed. 

  1. open device manager and go to ‘other devices’. 
    1. right click on the unknown device and select properties
  2.  with the properties window open, update the driver of the unknown device.
  3.  browse for the folder that contains the drivers
  4. When successfully updated, the below driver status will show.
