  2.  USB stick formatted to NTSF and named TMROBOT
  3.  Installation files for TMFlow
  4.  PC with Windows OS
Delete

Notes:

  • Update of TMFlow within the TM Controller can only be done between minor revision numbers,
do not attempt to update major revision numbers (e.g. do not try to go from 1.7 to 1.8 or 1 to 2).

  • An error will occur if the version is lower than the current version on the controller, this method cannot be
used to downgrade the TM version. To do this it is a different method.

  • If remote connection to the TM robot is required from a PC using TMFlow, please make sure that the
TMFlow version on the PC is also updated to the same version installed on the TM Robot.

Steps required to Update TM

  1. Unzip the update file into the root directory of the TMROBOT USB.

  1. Remove USB from PC and connect into one of the USB ports located at the bottom of the TM controller.

  1. Under the left hand side panel go to System
  2. Under System go to System Update

  1. If the USB has been formatted correct and the correct Update files have been placed within the USB stick root location, then you should see a .tmr file present within the System Update.

  1. If everything seems correct on the screen, proceed with clicking OK to start the update process
    • Make sure to not remove the USB until the update has completed and the robots has fully shutdown.

  2. Manually restart the TM robot
    • If the robot does not power ON with the robot stick, or if the ring light located towards the end of the robot arm is fast-blinking red, then power cycle the control box by removing the power supply to it.
