3G3MX2: Quickly Increment Parameters

The 3G3MX2-V2 features a jog wheel which is used to transition between parameters and modify their values. By default, this increments in the smallest unit of the particular value. For frequency, this is units of 0.01Hz. For Acceleration/ Deceleration, this is 0.01s. This can be tedious to increment such values when the value needs to be increased significantly.
This can easily be resolved by making use of Individual Input Mode. In individual input mode, you can enter a value for each digit, rather than incrementing only the last digit. This is available on both V1 and V2 drives. Select between the tabs below for the procedure on the relevant drive.
V1 Drives
To use individual input mode:
- Simultaneously press the increment and decrement keys to enter the individual input mode. The digit to that will be adjusted will begin blinking.
- Use the increment or decrement keys to increase or decrease the value of the digit.
- To select the digit towards the right, press the Enter key.
- To select the digit towards the left, press the Mode key.
- While the leftmost digit is selected, if the Mode key is pressed, the next selected digit will be the rightmost digit.
- Simultaneously press the increment and decrement keys to return to the normal input mode.
When changing the parameter number:
- After reaching the rightmost digit, pressing the enter key key will transition to edit the parameter.
When editing the parameter value:
- After reaching the furthest right-hand digit, pressing the enter key will set the value, then return immediately to the standard operation mode.
V2 Drives
To use individual input mode:
- Press and hold the Enter key for 3 seconds or more to enter the individual input mode. The digit to that will be adjusted will begin blinking.
- Rotate the Jog dial to increase or decrease the value of the digit.
- To select the digit towards the right, press the Enter key.
- To select the digit towards the left, press the Mode key.
- Press and hold the Enter key again to return to standard operation mode.
When changing the parameter number:
- If the leftmost digit is selected and the Mode key is pressed again, you will exit Individual Input mode.
- After reaching the rightmost digit, pressing the enter key key will transition to edit the parameter. You will need to press and hold the enter key again to edit the parameter in individual input mode.
When editing the parameter value:
- After reaching the furthest right-hand digit, pressing the enter key will stop blinking the digit. To set the value, then return immediately to the standard operation mode, press the Enter key once more. To cancel the changes press the Mode key.
